Keecker, a Paris-based company dedicated to making your life better through innovative technologies, unveiled its new smart, wire-free and connected robot at this years CES convention in Las Vegas.

Keecker aims to create a new product category, the first ever computer designed for lifestyle and for collective use at home. Equipped with a powerful video projection and 360° audio & video capture system, Keecker allows you to project movies, listen to music, browse the web, make video calls, play video games. And for the first time ever, Keecker introduces the possibility to create digital home decoration, to turn any surfaces into a screen and create magical moments.

“Keecker is truly mobile enabling you and your family to enjoy the highest quality entertainment wherever you want at home but also discover new ways of thinking about content, with no more constraints or limitations. Keecker is opening a new dimension, merging the physical and the digital worlds for the first time” said Pierre Lebeau, the founder & CEO of Keecker.

How It Works
Keecker is controlled via a free smartphone application (Android, iOS and Web). From your smartphone, simply ask keecker to project an interesting piece of art or a movie on your living room walls, fun images on your kid’s bedroom ceiling, the latest video or set of images from your trip to Bali on your dining room wall or start playing music in your garden and it’s done.

Keecker is 16 inches wide and 25 inches tall and the prototype model shown at CES will be about 30 pounds. Currently Keecker's prototypes are white, final color availability will be announced at the time of the official launch. Keecker will come with roughly 1 terabyte of local storage space, enough to store up to 1,000 feature films and the rechargeable battery will keep Keecker powered for several days without recharging

Investing in several devices, all of which are disparate and complex to connect can easily cost five digit figures for your entire family or business. Keecker, the first of its kind in the industry, integrates your digital and home entertainment world together in a seamless, immersive and collective way. The device will be available to consumers in the $4,000-5,000 price range starting in Q4 2014. It will include the robot, free apps and its recharge base.

Most apps available on the Google Play Store will be compatible and installable on Keecker. Keecker users will be able to download their control application on the Apple App Store for iOS owners and Google Play Store for Android users. All other device owners will be able to use our web application from their Internet browser.
