WeMo a home automation ecosystem by Belkin, and Holmes have announced availability of the new Holmes Smart Humidifier enabled with WeMo. The second product stemming from collaboration between Belkin International and Jarden Consumer Solutions, the smart humidifier features WeMo technology built-in and allows consumers to adjust, manage and maintain their home environment from anywhere using a smartphone or tablet.
The WeMo-enabled humidifier allows users to easily check and maintain optimum humidity levels, set schedules, and receive alerts and reminders through the WeMo app. The WeMo app also sends low water and filter replacement notifications and even allows users to purchase new filters through an in-app purchase for care-free maintenance. The humidifier works with the entire WeMo product ecosystem, which allows users to program custom settings and actions through the same app as their other WeMo devices and lighting solutions. For example, set the bedroom lights to turn off and the humidifier to turn on at the same time every evening to simplify nighttime routines.
With 60 hours of runtime and a four-gallon capacity, the Holmes Smart Humidifier enabled by WeMo easily provides humidity for an entire home up to 2,500 square feet and keeps the whole family comfortable for longer without refilling the water tank. The humidifier also features five different settings for customized comfort, an automatic shut-off, dry-out mode, plus water refill and check filter indicators for easy maintenance and usage.
