This Summer Sitka Gear designed its most complex system to date: The Layout Series, which is engineered for going horizontal while field hunting waterfowl from layout blinds.
The complex strategy, planning and harsh conditions that accompany hunting open fields led to the development of the Layout Jacket and Pant. Sitka GroundShield Insulation keeps points of contact with the frozen ground from becoming cold spots, and heavily reinforced GORE-TEX fabric was built to withstand the abrasiveness of cut cornstalks. And all features have been built around an ergonomic form ideal for the horizontal world of the layout blind.
Using body-mapped Primaloft Insulation beneath a durable waterproof GORE-TEX shell, the Layout Jacket keeps the core warm. A high, and wide ergonomic collar eliminates the cold from creeping down the neck. A removable call keeper system and lay-flat front shell pockets keep hunters organized and ready at a second’s notice to blow open the blind doors. The Layout Jacket is available in GORETM OPTIFADETM Concealment Waterfowl in sizes medium to 3XL.
The Layout Pant features a durable waterproof GORE-TEX shell and removable knee pads, allowing hunters to stay dry, agile and comfortable. Full side zips allow for easy-on and off while wearing boots, and the zippered hip pockets keep key items protected yet ready. The Layout Pant is available in GORETM OPTIFADETM Concealment Waterfowl Marsh in sizes medium to 3XL, tall sizes from medium to XL.
