The original Uuni wood-fired oven impressed cooking enthusiasts around the world when it launched with great success on the crowd-funding site Kickstarter back in November 2012. The small, fast and affordable oven was created by the London-based Finnish designer Kristian Tapaninaho in a response to a gap in the market. The Uuni 2 is a shiny new improved model that focuses on ease of use. “Uuni 2 enables everyone to impress their family and friends by making their own pizzas and other delicious wood-fired cuisine.” says the designer.
Uuni is smaller than a carry-on suitcase but nevertheless it’s impact has been significant. It boasts customers around the world, has been featured in global design and lifestyle publications and is stocked by prestigious retailers such as Selfridges.
Having fostered a growing community of wood-fired cooking Uuni enthusiasts, Kristian wanted to develop a new version of the oven to ensure that anyone could make brilliant food in their own back garden, yard or even on their balcony. Uuni 2 is made out of durable stainless steel and is manufactured in Finland. It reaches temperatures of 450°C (840°F) and allowing you to cook a pizza in only 2 minutes. This second generation Uuni is adjustable offering users the opportunity to cook dishes that require lower temperatures and slower cooking times too.

Uuni 2 gets up to 840°F (450°C) which enables you to cook things really fast. You can make a wood-fired pizza in less than 2 minutes! It’s also not just for pizza; you can cook flatbreads, salmon, vegetables, steaks or really anything that enjoys short cooking times.
Wood-Fired
Uuni is powered by wood pellets which are very energy-dense; they’re like regular wood except compressed. No additives, no hidden extras. Just wood. The ones we sell are made of 100% oak or you can use the ones from your local barbecue store. The pellets ignite easily & Uuni takes just 10 minutes to heat up, from cold to 840°F.
Lasts a Life Time
Uuni is made of beautiful brushed stainless steel. It weathers and ages as you use it, but it doesn’t rust and just keeps on performing. It’ll make for a key feature in your outdoor kitchen or barbecue area.
