CycleBoard's Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for their three-wheeled electric scooter has raised $147,404, surpassing their latest stretch goal. The CycleBoard team continues to work on new developments and make strides on Kickstarter.
CycleBoard seeks to be the safest, most versatile and customizable electric scooter for riders of all ages and skill levels. In order to add customization to each CycleBoard, riders have the option to add a smartphone or GoPro attachment, an onboard integrated lock, front fenders or swappable deck designs. Creator Phil LaBonty plans on continuing to add to this list and grow the CycleBoard product line in the near future.
"You won't find anything else like CycleBoard on the market right now and that's what our team likes to do. We like to set ourselves apart from the rest by creating something that no one has seen before," said CycleBoard creator Phil LaBonty. "The CycleBoard you see now is just the beginning. After the campaign is over, we plan on continuing our line of products, while expanding on the features that we have now and making them even better."
While CycleBoard is a powerful motorized vehicle, the self-centering suspension, lean-to-steer design and three-wheeled platform make it safer than other existing options. It also stands apart with its versatility and the ability for riders to use CycleBoard in a multitude of ways. Additional features of the CycleBoard include shock absorbing tires, an LCD display, a 48V / 450W rear hub motor and the ability to fold it down into "Trolley Mode," for ultimate portability and storage.
CycleBoard offers a variety of different deck designs and provides riders with a light, portable and personal form of transportation that's perfect for any occasion. Supporters of the campaign can pre-order a CycleBoard on Kickstarter for $899, which is $400 off the future retail price. For more information about CycleBoard, please clink on the buy link below.
